- Start slowly. Start with 3 days a week. Slowly increase to 5 days a week.
- Set a target. Make a target to walk 6000-8000 steps daily and increase the steps to challenge yourself
- Have a walking buddy
- Track your progress
- Make walking a fun activity. Enjoy when you walk by listening to your favourite song.
- Increase your incidental walking. Walk instead of driving to your nearby grocery store or take the steps instead of elevator.
